Finned surface design increases the air contact area and enhances the heat dissipation effect;

Aluminum chassis, metal protruded boss, metal blocks, and thermally conductive adhesives ensure that heat generated by components with high heat emission, such as the MAC/PHY of the primary chip and switched-mode power supply (SMPS), is transferred to the chassis to improve the heat dissipation efficiency, which is four times the efficiency of iron-made switches;

Industrial components are used to ensure strong high-temperature resistance;

The efficient industrial AC-DC SMPS improves the efficiency by more than 15% compared with that of common SMPS, reducing power loss and decreasing heat.

Terminal Power, Permanent Uninterruptable Power Supply

The port power design is adopted, which overhauls the conventional power design and prevents power cable disconnection in scenarios with strong vibration, such as rail switching, highways, traffic checkpoints and workshops.

Relay alarm interfaces are reserved in power interfaces, ensuring connection to the relay alarm on the customer end.

Packet Transmission Improving the Bandwidth Utilization

When back-end multi-level servers obtain image data from the front-end cameras, multicast packets are used to save the network bandwidth and enhance security of video packets. Unicast: Indicates the common one-to-one transmission mode. To transmit the same image to six servers, six packets are required, which wastes network bandwidth. Multicast: When packets are transmitted on the industrial switch, six packets are simplified into two. Packets are copied only to the required node, thus saving bandwidth.
